PAINESVILLE, OH (May 10, 2013) Last month The Northeast Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League raised $7,100.12 during their 5th Annual NE Chapter Scholarship Bowl-a-thon at Scores Fun Center in Painesville.
Port Conneaut and LCE Federal fought hard for the “Golden Pin” trophy raising $4,273 between them with Port Conneaut coming out on top! Other participating credit unions include: Lake County Educational, Acme, Cardinal Community, Eaton Family, LEO, Lakeview Federal CU, and Painesville City CU.
Miranda Puthoff CEO of Lake County Educational FCU stated, “It takes a lot of preparation but the reward is great!” “This is just another way of credit unions working together to help the communities in which they serve” Many of the credit unions share photos and more information on their Facebook accounts and their websites.
