Credit unions get compliance inside track at 2015 CUNA Regulatory Compliance School

MADISON, WI (June 3, 2015) – CUNA announced that two pre-conference workshops will be held prior to the 2015 CUNA Regulatory Compliance School offered September 20-25, 2015 in Boston.

The school will kick off with CUNA Vendor Management Certification Pre-conference Course for those who would like to earn their Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM)® designation, in partnership with Compliance Education Institute. In addition, for those interested in the specifics of marketing compliance, attendees have the opportunity to attend CUNA Marketing Compliance Pre-conference Seminar.

CUNA Regulatory Compliance School offers attendees a thorough understanding of the current regulatory environment through an overall compliance update and in-depth examinations of individual regulations. Participants can register for either Introduction or Update learning tracks, to account for varying degrees of compliance expertise.

“I’m not really sure how you would improve on this conference,” says Joetta Heck, CUCE, CCUE, CEO, Kemba Charleston Federal Credit Union. “For years I have told credit unions that if they don’t budget for any other training…they should send someone to CUNA Regulatory Compliance School. This school is very valuable, especially during the current environment.”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn the nationally recognized CUNA Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation, by successfully completing the optional exam.
