April 14th marked the one-year anniversary of Peter Bullard as the President/CEO of Credit Union of the Rockies.
Peter’s career can be traced back to 2010 when he joined Credit Union of the Rockies as a Loan Officer in Frisco, Colorado. Over the next 12-years, Peter worked as the Branch Manager of the credit union’s Summit County location, Director of Education/Training/and IT Systems (DEATS), Vice President of Member Experience (Marketing, Operations, Lending, and Information Technology), and as the credit union’s Senior Vice President.
In early 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Peter was appointed Interim CEO and quickly worked to stabilize the credit union’s staff and overall financial performance. One year later, Peter was appointed as the permanent President/CEO of Credit Union of the Rockies.

Peter is a hands-on leader whose shared industry passion for community service and helping the underserved is tied closely to the same values to which he was raised. As the President/CEO, Peter was tasked with realigning the credit union’s culture and company priorities. In his first year as President/CEO, Peter and his team significantly grew the credit union’s loan portfolio and celebrated historically low staff turnover.
