Credit Union of America announces new hires and promotions

CREDIT UNION OF AMERICA (CUA) is delighted to announce the following new hires and promotions: 

Amanda Gish as AVP of Digital Experience. With 13 years of service at CUA, Gish has continuously demonstrated visionary leadership and a commitment to making a difference. Starting as a Marketing Specialist in 2011, Gish advanced through marketing roles, serving most recently as AVP of Marketing. In her new role, she will transform the overall digital experience for new and existing members while overseeing the Digital Operations Center and optimizing the processes for digital channels. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University, Gish brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.

Shelley Morehead as Senior Brand Manager. Serving previously as Construction Manager from 2020, Morehead brings frontline branding experience along with advanced project management skills to the newly formed marketing role. As Senior Brand Manager, Morehead will maintain and promote the CUA brand, manage creative design processes and tactics across all channels, and increase the usage of products and services to achieve credit union growth goals. Her 25+ years of marketing and operations administration for Pizza Hut’s BOOK IT! Program, coupled with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fort Hays State University provides a solid foundation of support to Morehead in her new role.

Lindsay Magruder as Digital Marketing Manager. Magruder will be responsible for leading the development and management of digital advertising strategies, marketing automation, and targeted email communication. Magruder has 13 years of experience under her belt at CUA. Her career started at the heart of “Welcome to Friendly” with member service roles, giving her a firsthand understanding of members’ needs and values. Her well-rounded background, combined with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wichita State University, positions Magruder perfectly to craft impactful digital strategies to propel CUA forward.

Taylor Chandler as Branch Manager at the East Harry location. Chandler most recently served as Assistant Branch Manager at CUA’s Delano location. Her deep understanding of delivering exceptional member experience, along with her operations experience, has positioned her well to step into a lead role at the branch level. Chandler’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Business Administration from Fort Hays State University and The University of Texas at Arlington.
