KALAMAZOO, MI (September 17, 2024) — Consumers Credit Union is pleased to announce construction has begun on a new 1,185-square-foot office in Galesburg. The office is located at 84 West Michigan Avenue, next to Harding’s.
The Galesburg location will offer a full financial experience, including personal checking, savings, credit cards, mortgages, full-service lending and banking, investments and education.
“We are thrilled to be opening an office in our Galesburg community,” said Scott Sylvester, Consumers president and CEO. “We’ve been serving our members since 1951, and we listen to the needs of our communities. Galesburg is home to many of our members and employees, and there is an opportunity for us to bring banking back to Galesburg where other financial institutions have pulled out. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
This office will feature Consumers’ innovative TellerPlus+ technology in both the lobby and the drive-thru lane. The location will also include a free coffee bar, wireless banking stations with Wi-Fi, loan and member service office areas. Our five-star mobile app and award-winning online banking wraps up the Consumers experience.
Partners on the project include contractor AVB and building designers Bosch Architecture.
