Community First Credit Union announces new President / Chief Executive Officer

SANTA ROSA, CA (May 28, 2021) — Community First Credit Union has selected Scott Johnson to be their next President/ Chief Executive Officer, following a nationwide search.

Johnson is joining Community First from Unify Financial Credit Union, where he was the Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Johnson was also the Chief Executive Officer of Unify Insurance Solutions. During his almost ten years at Unify, Scott oversaw all lending functions, was responsible for all card programs and services, and was a key member of the senior management team. Before joining Unify, Scott was the Chief Technology Officer at Pacific Life Insurance Company, where he oversaw technology management for over 15 corporate departments and developing annual technology plans for a multi-billion-dollar company. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California.
