April 25th workshop open to the public
LIVONIA, MI (April 18, 2013) – Co-op Services Credit Union, www.cscu.org, recognizes that achieving lifelong financial success can sometimes seem like an overwhelming task. This is why Co-op Services is partnering with Accel, a division of Greenpath, to offer a free workshop called “Steps to Financial Freedom” for members and the community at large.
“This workshop is designed to help people create a step-by-step plan to gain long-term control over their finances and to help avoid financial crises,” said Lisa Fawcett, Co-op Services’ vice president of marketing.
The free workshop, which is open to the public, will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Livonia Civic Library at 32775 Five Mile Road in Livonia.
Topics will include setting financial goals, communicating with family members, creating a budget and building savings.
