MANHATTAN BEACH, CA (April 5, 2013) – Kinecta Federal Credit Union (Kinecta) announced today that Christopher L. Crockett has joined the organization as Senior Vice President, Member Services, effective April 1, 2013. Reporting directly to Joseph E. Whitaker, EVP/Chief Operating Officer/Chief Credit Officer. Crockett is responsible for overseeing Retail Services, the Member Contact Center, Risk Operations, and Card Administration and Services.
“With more than 30 years in financial services management and operations, Chris brings a depth and breadth of experience to Kinecta’s leadership team,” Whitaker said. “He will be instrumental in driving the Credit Union’s mission to provide exceptional service and value to our members.”
Crockett comes to Kinecta from City National Bank, La Jolla, Calif., where as he served as Senior Vice President/Regional Banking Manager. He previously was Senior Vice President, Chief Retail Banking Officer at San Diego National Bank, where he managed marketing, human resources, consumer/SFR lending, central operations, information technology, corporate real estate/OREO and non-deposit investment. Crockett has also held executive management positions at International Savings Bank, San Diego, a $300 million privately held bank, as well as Home Fed Bank, an $18 billion California retail bank.
Crockett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from the University of Southern California and was a member of the Varsity Rowing Crew.
