Champion Credit Union introduces member solutions center

(December 16, 2013) — Champion Credit Union has been blessed with continuous growth over the past few years. Along with increased membership comes increased inquiries and issues. The need for a department dedicated to assisting our members with these needs has become a necessity. In early 2014, Champion Credit Union will introduce our Member Solutions Center. The MSC will consist of five dedicated employees whose primary purpose will be to address any telephone inquiries that our members will have.

We understand that this will be a change for many of our members who are used to dealing directly with one branch. The Member Solutions Center team is dedicated to serving our members, and will be able to help right away. “I believe the Member Solutions Center will be beneficial to our members because they will receive a quick response to questions they have and still talk to a pleasant person,” says Pam Reece, Canton Branch Manager. “We are people helping people, and we will make every effort to ensure the best service to our members through Member Solutions.”

Meet our Member Solutions Center Team:

Clayton Rice, Member Solutions Manager: Clayton has been with Champion Credit Union since March 2012 as the Lending Auditor. Prior to working at Champion Credit Union, Clayton held various management positions with Wachovia Bank in Asheville. He is the Owner & Operator of Sweetwater Stables. Clayton’s business experience and expertise as a manager will be an asset to our new Member Solutions Center. “As we move forward, our team is excited about the opportunity of meeting the needs and expectations of our members by providing a seamless transition from the branch to the Member Solutions Center.”
Morgan Trull, Member Solutions Consultant: Morgan has been with Champion Credit Union since April 2011 as a Member Service Specialist in Canton. Morgan has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Haywood Community College. She has provided excellent assistance in different areas of the credit union and is looking forward to using her experience to help our members.
Anna Rose, Member Solutions Consultant: Anna has been with Champion Credit Union since October 2011 as a Member Service Specialist in Waynesville. Anna helped address concerns that arose when we upgraded our online banking system. She recently graduated from Southwestern Community College with degrees in Computer Information Technology and Web Design.
Melanie Wells, Member Solutions Consultant: Melanie has been with Champion Credit Union since August 2012 as a Member Service Specialist in Canton. Melanie has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Western Carolina University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Human Resource Management at Strayer University. “The Solutions Center team aims to offer members an efficient and personable experience when they call Champion Credit Union. Our goal is to offer a one-stop resolution to member questions. If we do not know the answer, we will strive to find it in a timely manner. Members who bank with Champion Credit Union will no longer face uncertainty in the resolution of their problems.”
Megan Wyatt, Member Solutions Consultant: Megan has been with Champion Credit Union since September 2013. She is a graduate of Pisgah High School and attended Haywood Community College. Megan has worked in banking since August 2006, and is proud to now be part of the credit union family.

As you can see, these employees have held various positions with Champion Credit Union, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist you with any issues or inquiries that you may have. Each of our consultants have been through a rigorous training program over the last quarter of 2013, designed to provide them with additional training and experience that will strengthen them in their new roles.

We are very excited about providing this much-needed service to our members.
