Cane Bay High School Cheerleaders Win a Limo Party and $500

(N. CHARLESTON, S.C.) – January 3, 2013 – Seven Cane Bay High School cheerleaders won a limo party and a $500 gift card from Young & Free South Carolina, powered by South Carolina Federal Credit Union, for being the Last Fans Standing.

The Cane Bay High School cheerleaders discovered they were winners during a surprise reveal at the school on December 4. They were led to think they were being interviewed by a local cheerleading blogger, only to discover a stretch Hummer limo pulling up behind them. (The video of the Last Fans Standing reveal is available on YoungFreeSC.com.)

“The cheerleaders were very excited to learn that they were the Last Fans Standing. It was great to have some of their coaches and parents in on the big reveal,” said Young & Free SC Spokester Darryl LaPlante.

The Young & Free SC team attended several local football games, inviting students to participate in the Last Fans Standing contest. Students were able to enter to win a stretch Hummer limo party and a $500 gift card by having their photos taken at the Young & Free SC photo booth and voting for their favorites on Facebook. Contest rules are available by request and at YoungFreeSC.com.

Young & Free SC is providing free financial education at local high schools, including Ashley Ridge High School and Goose Creek High School. Visit youngfreesc.com for more information.
