Broaden perspectives on risk at CUNA Enterprise Risk Management for Directors

WASHINGTON, DC (May 27, 2016) — Credit Union National Association will educate credit union board directors about the core concepts, practices and overarching philosophy of enterprise risk management at CUNA Enterprise Risk Management for Directors, Sept. 12 to 14, 2016, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“Risk management should be more than a necessary evil. When credit unions take a comprehensive, thoughtful, proactive approach to risk, it can be artfully leveraged to improve their bottom lines,” said Lynne Bjorgo, CUNA manager of learning events. “At this event, we equip directors with a comprehensive understanding of ERM—from basic concepts to the overarching philosophy—that will allow them to navigate through today’s abundant uncertainty.”

CUNA Enterprise Risk Management for Directors features content-packed sessions facilitated by risk experts from Rochdale Paragon Group. Attendees will build a working knowledge of ERM and learn director-specific insights into how to shape a risk culture and build a framework for assessing and responding to uncertainty.
