Bradford-Scott, the majority owner of Sharetec, a leading core system serving over 280 credit unions globally, is proud to announce that it has acquired the Sharetec Credit Union Division of Northern Data Systems (NDS). Bradford-Scott now adds the final piece, uniting all four original Sharetec resellers, which include: Bradford-Scott Data Corporation, Data Systems of Texas, GBS-Sharetec, and now NDS-Sharetec. What started as four regional independent partners in 1993, each serving as authorized resellers and equal part owners of Sharetec, has now turned into 180 employees serving over 280 credit unions, with five offices in the United States, working collaboratively to help credit unions and their members thrive.

The global Sharetec team is excited to welcome the talented team of experts at Northern Data Systems – Sharetec, to our professional family, as Sharetec continues to grow. This team will be led by Paul Stevens and will include the experienced team of technicians currently serving customers throughout the northeast and will be backed by a deep bench of experts across the country.
With this acquisition, Sharetec increases its investment and footprint in the northeastern United States, which means faster support and increased resources for customers in this region. This move also adds key personnel in development, hardware and software, quality control, conversion, implementation, and sales, making Sharetec an even stronger name in the credit union core space.
