To join in honoring Bob Schumacher, please send a check to NCUF-DE Fund at PO Box 78880 Milwaukee, WI 53278-0880, noting Bob Schumacher’s name on the check. Schumacher has been an active supporter and advocate for Biz Kid$ since the idea was first presented and worked closely with other credit union leaders, show producer Jamie Hammond, the Washington Credit Union Foundation, NCUF and many others to get credit unions across the country to consider underwriting the robust educational program for youth. Schumacher also dedicated his time and talents to the DE program by volunteering countless hours as a facilitator, mentor and sometimes key speaker at several DE Trainings since completing his own certification in the class of 2001, including supporting the inaugural Caribbean DE Training Program as a mentor, and was recently certified as an International – CUDE.
As the philanthropic and social responsibility leader of America's credit union movement, the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) raises funds, makes grants, manages programs, and provides education empowering consumers to achieve financial independence through credit unions. www.ncuf.coop
