Baylor Health Care System Credit Union (BHCSCU) is delighted to announce the recent appointment of Jeshahnton (Shaun) V. Essex to its Board of Directors. Jeshahnton was appointed at the June meeting to serve for an unexpired portion of a term created by a vacancy.
Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Baylor Scott & White Health – BUMC, Jeshahnton brings 19 years of experience mastering healthcare operational excellence while consistently delivering hospital and system-level initiatives for patients, consumers, stakeholders, and board members.
“Being a leader in the BSW Health community, Jeshahnton brings a deep set of skills that will be valuable to the credit union,” said LaVone Arthur, Board Chair of BHCSCU.
With decades of leadership in key areas, such as strategy, implementation, policy development and operational management, Jeshahnton will contribute to the strategic direction of the credit union and serve as an effective ambassador. Jeshahnton’s counsel and expertise will bring energy to the board and strengthen BHCSCU’s commitment to enhancing solutions to better serve BSW Health employees and campus affiliates.
