Belvoir Federal’s COO Elected to CUALN Board of Directors

WOODBRIDGE, VA (June 26, 2013) In June 2013, Belvoir Federal’s Chief Operations Officer (COO), Tisha Wallace, was nominated and elected to serve a three year term on the Credit Union Auto Loan Network (CUALN) Board of Directors in an advisory and governance role.

The CUALN Board of Directors consists of nine senior executives from participating credit unions who meet quarterly to approve annual budgets and strategy, determine new product offerings, discuss the geography of CUALNs operation, and how to better serve credit union members.

“The CUALN Board is pleased to be joined by Tisha Wallace of Belvoir Federal. She has many years of experience and has been a strong advocate of the Credit Union Auto Loan Network.,” commented Chris Conway, Chairman and President/CEO of Educational Systems FCU.

“This electoral position is a great opportunity and I was honored to be both nominated and elected to serve on the CUALN board. Being on the Board of Directors for this CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) will provide additional insight into the indirect lending credit unions face and how we can come together as credit unions to develop better programs for members to enjoy,” stated Tisha.

CUALN is a program where members of the participating credit unions can obtain auto financing from their credit union directly at the dealerships. CUALN was established in 1998 to serve the Maryland and Northern Virginia market and District of Columbia.  For more information, visit www.cualn.com.
