Atlantic Federal Credit Union congratulates Dawson Knapp of Sanford, the 2021 Atlantic/Amable & Vivian Caron $2,500 college scholarship recipient. Currently attending the University of Maine, Dawson was selected, from numerous entries, to receive the award after submitting his application and writing a short essay about personal achievement.
Atlantic President/Chief Executive Officer Scott Chretien stated, "We are happy to award Dawson this scholarship and wish him all the best in his future studies. Sharing the enduring legacy of Amable A. Caron and Vivian Caron endowment is an honor. As long-time members of the Credit Union, they wanted to support younger members in furthering their education."
Atlantic Federal Credit Union will announce its College Scholarship for high school seniors in February 2022. Five scholarships totaling $20,000 will be awarded.
