ArrowHeart Foundation – a community organization established by Arrowhead Credit Union – awarded Business Partner of the Year
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (October 1, 2024) — ArrowHeart Foundation was recognized by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District as the district’s Business Partner of the Year during the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce Public Safety Recognition Celebration.
“ArrowHeart Foundation is an incredible partner to the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District and the community,” said Augie Barreda, Deputy Chief of Operations for the District. Barreda added, “The Foundation’s generous support, like the van they donated to our joint Community Outreach and Support Team (COAST) Program, allows us to better serve our community.”
ArrowHeart Foundation was established by Arrowhead Credit Union in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) foundation for the purpose of giving back to communities the Credit Union serves. The Foundation partners with other 501(c)(3) organizations—as well as gives directly to the community—through volunteerism, food and clothing donations, distributing life essential bags to the unhoused, and academic scholarship awards. In total, the Foundation supports local communities in more than 100 ways annually and fills countless donation requests from community partners.
“We are grateful for being named as the District’s Business Partner of the Year and for being awarded a grant from the Chamber,” said Stefanie Villalobos, AVP, Philanthropy and Community Impact / Executive Director of the ArrowHeart Foundation. Villalobos also said, “The money granted to the Foundation will go directly back to serving the needs of our communities.”
Rancho Cucamonga Fire District, along with other local law enforcement and behavioral health programs, formed the COAST Program to aid in providing care to community members needing mental health assistance.
According to Barreda, “Improving our communities is a responsibility shared by everyone – and ArrowHeart gets that. Their support of the district’s efforts and all they do throughout the commuity is a great example of how working together helps make our communities better.”
