APG Federal Credit Union Honors Nancy Hill for 35 Years of Dedicated Service

(Aberdeen, MD, December 13, 2012) — In December, APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) honored Nancy Hill, certified financial literacy education counselor, with an award presentation for 35 years of dedicated service to the credit union.

In 1977, Hill was hired as a teller at APGFCU’s Aberdeen Proving Ground Branch and was later promoted to new accounts representative.  Since then, Hill has held positions as support service representative and member service specialist.  In her current role as certified financial literacy education counselor, Hill is responsible for implementing financial literacy education initiatives, conducting educational workshops targeting youth and adults, conducting outreach to affiliate programs and developing supplemental educational materials. She lives in Havre de Grace, Md.

As one of the largest employers inHarfordCounty, APGFCU has 275 employees, 70 percent of whom live inHarfordCountyand 20 percent inCecilCounty.  The credit union encourages the professional advancement of its employees and promotes from within.
