Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union & divisions named 2019 Top Workplace

St. Louis post dispatch releases annual list based on energage’s employee engagement survey

Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union (ABECU), and its divisions, American Eagle Credit Union and Purina Credit Union, has been recognized by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as a 2019 Top Workplace.

“Our employees are the reason we earned this award, and we are grateful. We strive to create a culture in which our employees enjoy the work associated with their careers, feel valued, and are rewarded for their contributions,” said Robert “Bob” McKay, Chief Executive Officer.

For the past eight years, the St. Louis Post Dispatch has partnered with Energage, a CultureTech company focused on developing an employee-centric approach to success, to determine the greater St. Louis area’s Top Workplaces. This year, over 220 organizations agreed to share Energage’s employee engagement survey with their employees. The 2019 Top Workplace list is based on 46,194 responses to the survey, which included 24 questions in seven categories regarding issues relating to workplace culture.

Survey results were grouped by organizational size (small, midsized, and large) to most accurately compare results. Companies were then ranked within these size groupings, with those that scored high enough recognized as Top Workplaces. Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union, who has earned Top Workplace honors five times since 2014, placed in the Top Workplaces – midsized businesses.

“Credit unions place people ahead of profits. It is how we support our employees, serve our Members, and engage in our communities,” added McKay.
