The Louisiana Credit Union League’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) presented Andie Panepinto with Instep Federal Credit Union the 2023 Young Professional of the Year Award during its annual workshop. The event, which united more than 80 young professionals, took place April 24-25 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The award recognizes an individual 18-40 years of age who has been exceptionally engaged and supportive of the Louisiana credit union movement over the past year.
Her remarkable career in the credit union industry began as a teller and has seen her ascend through various roles, including loan officer and marketing representative. Notably, she played a key role in leading her credit union through a successful rebranding from NAS JRB CU to Instep FCU.
Currently serving as Talent Development Manager, Andie has found her passion in fostering organizational excellence through talent empowerment. She also holds various volunteer roles as the secretary for the East Orleans Chapter, YPN Steering Committee Member for the Orleans Chapter as well as a judge and committee member on America's Credit Unions Marketing & Business Development Council Diamond Award Panel, demonstrating her commitment to professional development and community engagement within the credit union industry.
Her impact has reached beyond industry recognition, as evidenced by her work with Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) New Orleans, where her collaboration with the Commanding Officer led to Instep FCU being nominated for the DCUC Upcoming Small Credit Union award.
Andie's dedication, leadership, and passion for the credit union movement makes her a deserving recipient of the 2023 Young Professional of the Year Award.
