America’s Christian CU to Host Call to Prayer For Adoption

GLENDORA, CA— On Wednesday, February 27th at 11:30 a.m. PT, America’s Christian Credit Union will be hosting A Call to Pray For Adoption, a free community event open to the public, at 2100 East Route 66, Glendora, California.

ACCU believes every child deserves a forever family. ACCU’s adoption loan program has helped place over 700 children in a loving home, and as a reflection of the beliefs shared by their membership, feel called to do more to advance the cause of the orphan.

ACCU has invited local churches, community advocates, leaders, and supporters of adoption to join their prayer event, held Wednesday, February 27 at 11:30 am PT. There will be a time of prayer for children seeking loving families through adoption. Members of ACCU who are adoptive parents will share their story as well. If you are able to join the event at our Glendora office, RSVP by calling 1-800-343-6328, ext. 5511. Those that are unable to attend are invited to host their own event in their community and share this on ACCU’s Facebook page, found at facebook.com/AmericasChristianCU.

President/CEO Mendell L. Thompson explains, “Our Board, leadership and staff are committed to supporting the adoption community. Recent news events have seen renewed opposition to our families desiring to expand through adoption, and this call to prayer is our peaceful yet powerful way of addressing the issues at stake.”

More information, as well as a link to the Facebook event can be found on our Web site, www.AmericasChristianCU.com/adoption.
