American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) celebrated the grand opening of its new South Street Branch on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. The new branch is located at 2716 South Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania inside of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s new Roberts Center for Pediatric Research building.
The grand opening featured tours, appearances by local dignitaries and concluded with a ribbon cutting ceremony. American Heritage President & CEO Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage Chairperson Cecilia Grady, City Councilman Al Taubenberger, Tiphanie White from City Councilman Johnson’s Office, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Peter Grollman, South of South Neighborhood Association’s Kevin Brown and Nicole Koedyker, and Schuylkill River Development Corporation’s Joseph Syrnick were in attendance to participate in the dedication.
During the grand opening, American Heritage presented a check for $10,000 to the South of South Neighborhood Association. The donation will be used to help plant trees in the South of South Neighborhood Association’s revamp project to Carpenter Green Park located in South Philadelphia.
