American Eagle FCU hosts 2nd annual Financial Reality Fair at Rentschler Field on Wednesday, March 26

State Treasurer, Mayor Connor Martin 600 high school students from 25 Greater Hartford-area schools to get crash course in financial literacy at American Eagle-sponsored Event

American Eagle Financial Credit Union will host over 600 high school students from two dozen area middle and high schools this Wednesday for its Second Annual Financial Reality Fair at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

The fair is designed to give students an immersive experience in financial education, introducing students to the basics of real-world financial realities by building an understanding of proper budgeting that is essential to their future financial success.

This is the first time this event will take place under the new state law that mandates the teaching of personal financial management and financial literacy in Connecticut.

State Treasurer Erick Russell is confirmed to attend and address the students with AEFCU President and CEO Howard Brady as the event kicks off. East Hartford Mayor Connor Martin will attend, as well.
