JACKSON, Mich. – American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back. American 1 Credit Union’s North Street Branch recently adopted a family through the Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family program.
The North Street Branch held a bake sale where several staff members brought in baked goods. The North Street Staff raised almost $150 through the bake sale. American 1 Credit Union added in $30, bringing the total to almost $180.
They then took all of the money raised and went shopping for the local family. The Salvation Army is collecting all gifts for adopted families on Wednesday, December 12.
“I am very proud of the North St staff for their efforts to make this family’s Christmas a better one,” said Angela Tudor, North Street’s Manager in Training at American 1 Credit Union.
