American 1 Credit Union is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest full-service branch in Lenawee County, located at 1586 W Maumee St. in Adrian, Michigan. This exciting addition is now open!
The new Adrian Branch will feature drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM, and extended hours for added convenience. This new branch will replace the Adrian branch located inside Polly’s Country Market, which is now closed.
To celebrate, American 1 Credit Union and the Lenawee Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Matthew Heffernan will be leading the Adrian Branch as Branch Manager. Heffernan joined American 1 Credit Union in June of 2021 as a Member Service Specialist. He was later promoted to Assistant Branch Manager for the North St. Branch and then was promoted to Branch Manager at the Downtown Jackson Branch located at One Jackson Square.
“I chose American 1 Credit Union because I am passionate about who we are and our mission,” Heffernan said. “We create financial wellness in our communities through personal everyday banking. The Lenawee community is an incredible area, and I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of this market.”
As Branch Manager, Heffernan will report to Keleigh Ballinger, VP of Branch Operations.
