Altura Credit Union moves branch half mile to new location

RIVERSIDE, CA (January 9, 2014) —  Altura Credit Union moved one of its branches about a half mile to a more convenient location and marked the event with a day-long celebration on Dec. 20.  Although only a half mile in distance, the location change moved the Canyon Springs branch from the Moreno Valley community to Riverside.

Earlier in the week, credit union executives and boardmembers, along with representatives from the local Chamber of Commerce, officially cut the ribbon to open the new location.
The Grand Opening Celebration included $100 Visa Card give-a-ways, food from Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill, and activities for the kids such as a clown, face painting, balloon animals and goodie bags.
“We moved our Canyon Springs branch to a location with more parking that is also more convenient to other businesses and shops,” said Cheryl Benjamin, manager of Altura’s Canyon Springs branch. “Our opening party was a great way to show off the location to our members, but also to introduce ourselves to our neighbors in the shopping center and their customers.”
