Altura Credit Union Holiday Food Drive Assists Local Charities

(Riverside, Calif.)  Jan. 14, 2013 – Altura Credit Union Members and employees donated nearly 900 non-perishable food items to local charitable organizations as part of its fifth annual Holiday Canned Food Drive.

Non-perishable food items were collected at Altura’s nine branches. The Rancho Mirage and Riverside Avenue branches collected the most items, followed by the 14th Street branch and the Operations & Technology Center (OTC).

The staff members at each branch, Altura’s Member Service Center and Altura’s OTC selected the local non-profit organization to receive donations.  This year, donations were made to:

Riverside City College-Active Minds
Martha’s Village and Kitchen
Take A Bite Out Of Hunger/Riverside
Settlement House of Corona/Norco
The Pantry
Hemet Community Pantry
Canyon Springs Family Services Association
