ALM First selects Shirley McMillan as Director, Executive Benefits

McMillan brings over 20 years of extensive experience in executive compensation, benefits consulting, strategic planning, operations, and partner relationship development to her new role. ALM First’s fiduciary approach to providing transparent, trustworthy and tailored solutions aligns with McMillan’s philosophy. Prior to joining ALM First Executive Benefits, she served as Chief Operating Officer for a wealth management firm where she was a key member of the management team leading strategic plan initiatives.

“I am so excited to join ALM First Executive Benefits and empower credit unions and banks to retain and reward their key executives,” says McMillan. “I’m looking forward to leveraging my expertise to provide education and insights into the possibilities, collaboratively design plans, and create tailored solutions in the best interests of all stakeholders.”

McMillan has held various positions with executive benefits firms M Benefit Solutions and Executive Compensation Institute (ECI Companies). Her professional experiences include serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for M Benefit Solutions, where she led a team of 40 individuals serving corporate and financial institution clients in the design and administration of executive benefit plans.

McMillan earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Boston College. She was born and raised in Houston and now resides in Portland where she and her husband are raising their three children.
