Nikki Bunch, Senior Vice President of Member Experience at Nusenda Credit Union, was recognized as a 40 Under 40 Honoree by Albuquerque Business First (ABF). For 23 years, Albuquerque Business First has been recognizing young leaders in New Mexico who excel in their careers and communities.
“Nikki is dedicated to cultivating a relationship-based experience for the Credit Union’s more than 260,000 members,” said Michelle Dearholt, Nusenda’s Executive Vice President of Operations. “As one of our youngest senior leaders, I am proud to see her honored as she continues to positively impact our members, employees, and communities while on her leadership journey.”
Nikki joined Nusenda eleven years ago with a background in hospitality management and a master’s degree in business. Determined to make a career in the financial services industry, she started as a teller and advanced through a variety of roles including Management Trainee, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President of Branch Experience. In her current role, she is a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for the member experience of all personal interactions with our over 260,000 members. She and her team lead over 400 employees in multiple departments including our more than 20 branches, virtual tellers, the contact center, investment services, and branch operations.
Nikki also serves on the Nusenda Foundation Board, supporting the credit union’s philanthropic programs and investments in innovative solutions with a goal of strengthening communities. In 2023, the Foundation provided over two million dollars of support to community organizations and non-profits.
