COLLEGE STATION, TX (May 20, 2013) Aggieland Credit Union (ACU) hosted its first free community shred day in partnership with Brazos Record Storage at their Southwest Parkway location in College Station on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
Over 83 people attended and 3,200 pounds of paper were brought by Aggieland Credit Union members and the community to be shredded offsite and recycled by local shredding company Brazos Record Storage. Attendees were given free give-a-way items, cookies and ice cold waters.
The credit union currently has 17 branches across the state of Texas and is known as Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union outside of the Brazos Valley.
