Affinity Plus welcomes new Chief Information Officer Radha Chavali

New CIO effective May 2024, following the retirement of CIO Teri Laufers

SAINT PAUL, MN (June 4, 2024) — Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union has hired Radha Chavali as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective May 2024, following the retirement of CIO Teri Laufers. Radha brings over two decades of extensive technology experience in IT strategic planning, business process transformation, enterprise program management, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and security modernization, and IT operation optimization.

As a strategic executive, Radha excels in aligning technology roadmaps with organizational goals by cultivating robust business relationships and stakeholder alignment, ensuring a strong return on investment. Radha has demonstrated her expertise across various industries and multiple Fortune 500 companies in the Twin Cities. She has successfully managed large technology portfolios, enterprise projects, and globally distributed teams.

Radha holds a master’s degree in engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She is actively involved in collaborating with women in technology to facilitate their early and mid-career growth, and is deeply committed to promoting Diversity & Inclusion.
