Advancial Federal Credit Union was named the winner of the 2019 Banking, Tax & Financial Services Innovation of the Year award at the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Marriott City Center hotel.
“The EMMAs are the premier Awards ceremony for Global Mobility in the Americas and across the globe, with the greatest breadth of categories for both corporate professionals and service providers,” said Claire Tennant-Scull, Global Director of Content & Marketing at FEM.
Advancial has been short-listed or named a runner-up several times in years past, but this is the first time for the organization to be recognized as the winner.
“Creative, innovative financial solutions are one of the cornerstones of our culture,” said Deborah Griesbach, Chief Marketing Officer at Advancial. “With the expat market, we recognized a group of people with a unique set of challenges that our products could solve. It has really worked out well for our organization and our expatriate members.”
The judges of the 2019 EMMAs agreed. “Advancial provides expats with badly needed services and gives genuine attention to the needs of their clients, expanding services and demonstrating real results,” said the judges, commenting on Advancial’s entry for the competition.
“EMMAs entries are rigorously judged by a team of fiercely impartial, highly experienced, senior figures in the industry, who are drawn from a range of disciplines across the Americas region and who give up their own free time to carry out a very thorough and demanding process,” continued Tennant-Scull. “So, these awards carry tremendous kudos. It’s so important to receive recognition among your peers for innovation and hard work and so I think the winners and all those on the Shortlist should feel extremely proud.”
