“The Credit Union Magazine Credit Union Hero program is an opportunity to lift up the voices of the unsung heroes of the movement. We’re looking for the stories of those who have quietly made an indelible mark on their credit unions, their communities, and most important, their members,” said Ann Hayes Peterson, vice president and editor-in-chief of Credit Union Magazine.
“Credit unions’ people-helping-people philosophy is driven by employees at every level and position—many of whom have made dramatic impacts in the lives of modern members,” said Shanon McLachlan, president of Symitar. “The Credit Union Magazine Credit Union Hero program is a special opportunity to recognize a few of the heroes who are defining the credit union movement in a caring, individual way. Their stories are an inspiration to us all.”
