Abound Credit Union Celebration of the Arts is a competitive exhibition located at the Kentucky Museum on the campus of Western Kentucky University (WKU). Abound, the sponsor of the 2023 Celebration of the Arts, recently expanded its support by signing a three-year agreement with WKU and committing a total of $60,000 to be the sole sponsor for 2024, 2025 and 2026. The Call for Artists for 2024 is now open with entries due February 9.
The art competition is open to all residents 18 years of age or older, living in a Kentucky county which falls within a 65-mile radius of Bowling Green. An awards ceremony will be held to announce winners on March 1.
The art show, generously sponsored by Abound Credit Union, will be open to the public from March 2 - April 12, 2024, with the exception of March 18 – 23, when the museum will be closed for WKU’s spring break.
“We’re very proud of our expanding partnership with WKU,” said Jake Darabos, CPA, Chief Finance and Administration Officer of Abound Credit Union. “At Abound, our purpose is to enhance the lives of Kentuckians and help our communities thrive. Our title sponsorship of the Celebration of the Arts, along with our support of WKU’s Personal Finance Summer Camps, Textbooks for Troops, and M.A.S.T.E.R. plan all tie back to our mission.”
