ABCO Federal Credit Union announces selection of new President/CEO
PLANO, TX (July 6, 2018) — ABCO Federal Credit Union selected Jill Peterson to serve as its new president and chief executive officer, effective July 2, 2018. Credit Union Resources, Inc. conducted the executive search for the $200 million dollar credit union.
With more than 25 years of management experience in the financial services industry, Peterson will lead ABCO FCU in providing excellent products and services that meet their members’ needs and help them achieve their financial goals. Peterson is recognized in the industry for transforming businesses and delivering dynamic service and superior fiscal results.
Peterson comes to ABCO FCU from MemberFirst Mortgage, LLC in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she served as the director of business development. She devised and implemented strategies to achieve corporate goals for account and product development. She also executed a best practices communication model and crafted compelling content that positioned the organization as the leading subject-matter expert.
Prior to working at MemberFirst Mortgage, Peterson was the regional sales director of the northeast United States at CU Members Mortgage in Dallas. She led a team of regional account executives to increase production and revenue for existing and new clients, strengthen client relations, and ensure exceptional service.
Peterson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. She is also active in the community and has served on several boards, including the boards of Empire Corporate Federal Credit Union in Albany, N.Y., and Garden State Corporate Central Credit Union in Hightstown, N.J.
