AAA FCU’s Paul Obermeyer inducted into Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 10, 2024) — Paul Obermeyer, President of AAA Federal Credit Union in South Bend, was inducted into the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame on October 4 during the Credit Union Awards Celebration, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.

Obermeyer has been with AAA Federal Credit Union since 1982 and has been president since 1986. Currently, the credit union serves nearly 6,000 members from three offices in the South Bend area.

His contributions to the credit union business are numerous and include many years on the boards of INDICORP and MidStates Corporate Credit Unions and multiple terms as the president of the St. Joseph Valley Chapter of Credit Unions. He has served on several committees of the Indiana Credit Union League and is currently vice president of the Credit Consortium Board of Trustees, which provides group insurance to more than 6,300 individuals in Indiana and Kentucky.
