San Diego County Credit Union’s `Shred Day’ results
SAN DIEGO, Calif., (Nov. 2, 2012) -- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, announced that 390 trees were saved as a result of shredding approximately 46,750 pounds of personal and confidential documents at its recent Shred Day event held at three SDCCU® branch locations in Southern California.
SDCCU® hosted the free Shred Day event as part of its 2012 Member Appreciation Week, as well as its commitment to promote identity theft awareness and go green in the community. The three branch locations included: El Cajon branch at 312 West Main Street; Temecula branch at 31693 Temecula Parkway; and SDCCU’s administrative office located at 6545 Sequence Drive in Mira Mesa.
