2016 CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council Awards open for entry
WASHINGTON, DC (May 2, 2016) — CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council announced today that they are now accepting nominations for their 2016 awards. Both categories—the Excellence Awards and the Professional of the Year Award—will be presented at CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council Conference, to be held Sept. 28 – Oct. 1, 2016 in Las Vegas.
“Because operations, sales and service are integral to the success of the credit union industry, significant achievement in these fields deserves commendation,” said Steve Stryker, CUNA Operations, Sales and Service Council Awards Chair and Chief Operation Officer of Scott Credit Union. “With these awards, we will honor the work of professionals who, through their ingenuity and dedication, have ensured their credit unions’ prosperity.”
The Excellence in Operations, Sales & Service Awards honor innovative, universally applicable solutions in these fields at credit unions in three asset groups: less than $150 million, $150 million – $500 million and greater than $500 million. The Excellence Awards will recognize four categories; sales & service management, branch design, contact center/e-support and miscellaneous. Entries for the Excellence Awards must be submitted by July 29.
The Professional of the Year Award is presented to a professional who has strengthened and created value for their credit union by offering outstanding direction to staff, quality service to members and leadership to their culture, all while serving as a strong credit union advocate. Nominations for the Professional of the Year Award must be received by June 17, and complete entry materials must be submitted by July 29.
