Credit Union National Association has announced a collaborative effort with the National Credit Union Foundation, Northwest Credit Union Association and Northwest Credit Union Foundation entitled Give Back to Seattle, a financial education event to be held at America’s Credit Union Conference on June 26, 2016, in Seattle, WA.
During the event, teachers and administrators from school districts across the state of Washington will be presented with information and practical guidance on youth-oriented financial education. In addition to valuable insights, each attendee will leave the event with a Biz Kid$ Starter Kit—including DVDs, training tips and suggested curriculum—that is customized to Washington state financial education standards. Volunteers at the event will have the opportunity to leave a positive impression on our host city by offering the tools and resources to area teachers that they need to help their students succeed financially.
