2013 CUNA Regulatory Compliance School Dates Announced
Madison, Wis. (November 14, 2012) – CUNA announced today that CUNA Regulatory Compliance School will take place April 21-26 in New Orleans, LA; and September 15-20 in Tempe, AZ. Registration and school details are available at training.cuna.org/rcs.
CUNA Regulatory Compliance School offers attendees a comprehensive understanding of the current regulatory environment through examinations of compliance details for individual regulations and attendees leave with a thorough understanding of the current regulatory environment all in one comprehensive experience. The school is designed to give credit union professionals the opportunity to network with peers while onsite.
To account for differing degrees of compliance familiarity, the school offers two learning levels: Introduction and Update. As a portion of the curriculum for Introduction, attendees devote full days to sections of regulation and test on those regulations the same day. Rather than requiring memorization of all regulatory elements, attendees are instead provided with the knowledge and resources to locate those intricate details when future compliance questions arise. Included in the Update curriculum, the featured general session focuses on today’s most pressing compliance issues direct from our compliance team in D.C. From there, breakout sessions allow attendees to choose specialized pursuits that are of the most value to them.
Attendees also have the opportunity to earn the nationally recognized CUNA Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation.
