Winston-Salem, N.C. –Allegacy Federal Credit Union’s 13th annual “Don’t Wait” Benefit Golf Tournament held recently at Bermuda Run Country Club in Davie County netted almost $46,000 to benefit Cancer Services, Inc. To-date, the tournament has raised more than $630,000 which goes directly to breast and ovarian cancer survivors, and women in the community who want to learn prevention and early detection techniques. Cancer Services covers residents in Forsyth, Davie, Stokes, and Yadkin Counties and all services, from financial assistance to medical supplies, special programs, advocacy and more are offered at no charge.

(Ike) Keener Jr. “The contributions from the tournament mean more breast and ovarian cancer survivors can receive assistance and more in-depth help than ever before. Next year’s tournament is scheduled for October 10, 2013.
