JACKSONVILLE, FL (July 8, 2013) 121 Financial Credit Union concluded its sponsorship of the I Love Music Foundation with a day-long concert for the city of Jacksonville, Florida, performed by local youth bands.
Over 2,000 people attended the Jacksonville Landing to hear 16 bands perform, with band members averaging 18 years old.
The I Love Music Foundation is involved with promoting music to Florida youth. Their work includes publicizing the benefits and advantages of learning a music skill to kids from elementary school to college; assisting band directors in schools to increase their marketing efforts in promoting their programs that will result in attracting more students to their programs; and helping to raise money for school systems to help avoid cuts in music programs from their curriculums.
