121 Financial Credit Union Relocates Branch to Increase Presence in Orange Park, Florida

Jacksonville, Fla.; November 26, 2012 – In order to service the increased banking demand in Orange Park, Florida, 121 Financial Credit Union has relocated an existing branch to self-standing facilities at 6072 Youngerman Circle, on the south side of I-295 off of Blanding Boulevard.

The new location, which is one mile south of its old commercial strip center location at 6000-1 Lake Gray Boulevard, offers full banking services, including three drive-through lanes, a 24-hour drive-up ATM and safe deposit boxes.

The new facility will have approximately 3,757 square feet, which is 500 feet larger than the older location. Renovations to the building were done by Metro Property Services.

“We are excited to have these new facilities that will enhance the banking experience for our customers,” explained Eric Byrd, 121 Financial’s Orange Park branch manager. “Just by having the drive-through lanes, we’ll be offering a great convenience for customers.”

The older branch will close December 1 and the new location will open the next Monday on December 3.

121 Financial has focused on providing specialized banking services demanded by customers in west Duval and Orange Park neighborhoods. “We have found that many people in these specific communities have requested services from us, such as checking with interest, auto loans and mortgages,” explained 121 Financial Credit Union CEO William Braddock. “These are the type of services that we can efficiently deliver to customers in these communities. So with our new facilities and customized services, we think the Orange Park branch has a great potential for our credit union.
