Natural instincts of a leader

When you have to make a quick, in-the-moment decision, you often rely on your “gut feeling.” The deeper your experience as a leader, and the greater the number of decisions you make, the more reliable is that oh-so-important gut feeling.

According to Forbes: “The most successful leaders are instinctual decision makers. Having done it so many times throughout their careers, they become immune to the pressure associated with decision making and extremely intuitive about the process of making the most strategic and best decisions.”

Good news for leaders: Decision making is not the only critical part of leadership born out of practice.
