As we approach International Credit Union Day on October 17, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact the credit union movement has on people and communities around the world. This day gives us the opportunity to celebrate the values of cooperation, inclusivity, and financial empowerment that define our credit unions and the credit union system. It provides an occasion to engage our members, highlight the unique benefits of credit union membership, and showcase the positive contributions we make within our communities.
To honor International Credit Union Day, the Maine Credit Union League is holding its fifth annual Campaign for Ending Hunger $100,000 Challenge throughout the month of October. Synergent will be participating in the Challenge as a Premium Contributor again this year to help address food insecurity in our home state of Maine.
