CUNA engaged with Senate ‘Stablecoin’ hearing
The House of Representatives and the Senate are in session this week, the House will continue to resolve the debt limit legislation ahead of the Dec. 15 deadline.
The Senate is expected to continue its consideration of the fiscal year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) (S.1605).
The House has passed several versions of its NDAA, including one last week without bank-requested expansion of an arrangement allowing waivers for certain costs for credit unions on military installations.
CUNA continues to support adding the text of the Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act and remote notary authorization to the final NDAA.
