If you can arrange it, your financial institution can benefit from a complete marketing campaign and pay only part of the cost. It works when you co-brand a promotion with another business or entity.

A marketing partnership between at least two different brands of goods or services. Co-branding encompasses several different types of branding partnerships, such as sponsorships. This strategy typically associates the brands of at least two companies with a specific good or service.

What the definition doesn’t tell you, the co-branding companies each contribute to a share of the advertising expenses.
