Terry Akin

Terry joined Mortgage Cadence, LLC in June 2013 as SVP Lending Solutions, responsible for all sales activities and personnel involved with the company’s Lending Solutions area. He has more than 25 years of risk management experience with the last 15 years focused on mortgage lending. Prior to joining Mortgage Cadence, he held leadership positions in sales and account management with Solidifi US, Inc., a technology driven appraisal management company and United Guaranty Corporation, a private mortgage insurer. His first 10 years out of college had him traveling throughout the Southeast US managing a region for a large property & casualty insurance company as a production underwriter focused on worker’s compensation risks – from Horse Farms to Banks. He received his Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation in 2008 and maintains that designation along with less than 1100 individuals in US.
