He has written extensively on many professional and personal growth topics and his work has been published in a variety of newspapers, trade magazines, and industry publications.  He has been interviewed and featured in Credit Union Times, Credit Union Journal, CU Insight, and others. He is a member of the National Speaker’s Association and the American Society for Training & Development.  He is the Past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing & Business Development Council and is a contributor to various advisory boards and task forces around the industry.

In March 2008, he was the recipient of the Business Development Professional of the Year Award from the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing & Business Development Council.

In August 2013, Sean was named a Trailblazer Below 40 by Credit Union Times.
