Peter Schmitt is chief strategy and innovation officer of Dialog Direct, an award-winning marketing and customer engagement provider. As a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, Schmitt has been a pioneer in leading large corporate transformations, growing start-ups and managing turnarounds, most notably credited with repositioning call centers into engagement centers driven to delight the consumer methods for brand-able, efficient consumer acquisition and retention experiences. As chief strategy officer at Dialog Direct, Peter defines and develops the frameworks and methodologies that bring the brand vision to life for long-term improvement through technical and strategic development planning and execution. Prior to his current position at Dialog Direct, Peter was president and CEO of Troy, MI-based Dialogue Marketing and president and founder of Total Member Care, a PSCU Financial Services nationwide provider of 24/7 call center and software solutions. As a customer experience evangelist, Peter is passionate about consumer insights, business strategies and data analytics. Schmitt holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from John Carroll University. He is currently pursuing a double master’s degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University.
